Polaris Counseling and Consulting Services serves as a clinical training site for master’s level students from local and national universities in various disciplines, including social work, counseling, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology. Our aim is to create a supportive environment for interns from diverse backgrounds, fostering the development of their professional skills. The clinical program is rooted in teaching evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, with a primary focus on direct practice.
Our supervision model is primarily developmental, and we typically engage with students interested in completing both their practicum and internship at Polaris Counseling and Consulting Services. - Whether you are seeking a site for both practicum and internship.

- If you have the flexibility to split your internship into two semesters, each with 300 total hours. While we recommend this for the optimal learning experience, we understand that some programs may not allow for such flexibility.
